I am going to write a slight alteration and always seek clarification.

Seeking truth is a universal activity. Science, or understanding how the physical world works (including most biology and life), is one sub-category of truth-seeking. Philosophy is truth-seeking in certain areas that are non-physical and specific areas of human biology/life, mainly because it is thought that these areas of human life are not due to the physical laws.

Finding the quickest way to Walmart is a scientific enterprise. In contrast, a painting on a wall on the way to Walmart might be considered philosophy because it originated in the mind of a human.

As an aside, I am currently reading/listening to Michael Egnor and Denyse O'Leary's new book, "The Immortal Mind." They believe that consciousness is not a result of any physical laws of biology or physics. So far, they are making a very good case. Where this would fit in is probably science or the failure of it to explain something obvious. Would that make it philosophy? Just as existence is a philosophical concept because science does not explain it.
