Some Good News

Some good news to share: I’ve just been informed that my paper, “Simply Put: The Argument for Divine Simplicity,” has won the annual ACPQ Rising Scholar Essay Competition and is scheduled for publication (pending minor revisions) in the American Catholic Philosophical Quarterly this spring.

I’m very grateful for the many conversations—and plenty of (often intense!) pushback—that helped sharpen the paper, especially the substantive feedback Daniel Vecchio offered on an early draft. Most of all, I’m deeply appreciative of my wife, whose truly heroic patience somehow survives the countless hours I spend enthusiastically disappearing into these “cute little hobbies” of mine.
